Gaza High School opened its doors in 1984, a beacon of education in its community. Its history began under the stewardship of its founding Headmaster, Mr Ferera, whose vision laid the foundation for the school's future. He passed the torch to Mr Makorokoto, who continued to build upon that foundation, shaping the school's identity and ethos. Mr Simango then took the helm, further contributing to the school's growth and development.
The current Headmaster, Mr Thondhlana Stanley, assumed his role at Gaza High in 2009. His tenure, spanning over a decade, has marked a significant chapter in the school's ongoing story. Under his leadership, Gaza High School continues to evolve, adapting to changing times while preserving the core values established by his predecessors. The school's history is a testament to the dedication and vision of these four leaders and the countless students, teachers, and staff who have contributed to its rich tapestry over the years. It is a legacy built on learning, growth and community spirit, and promises continued success in the years to come.
